Keir M. Weyble

Keir M. Weyble has concentrated almost exclusively on the litigation of capital cases in state and federal collateral review since 1996. He has represented prisoners in state and/or federal collateral proceedings in more than half a dozen states, and has served as co-counsel for the prisoner in five habeas corpus cases decided by the Supreme Court of the United States, and as counsel for amicus curiae in two others. He has also worked since 1996 with the Habeas Assistance and Training Project, monitoring and reporting on federal habeas corpus case law developments nationwide, producing the Federal Habeas Corpus Update and other Project publications, consulting with counsel for habeas petitioners across the country, and serving as a faculty member at numerous capital and post-conviction litigation seminars around the nation.
