Emily Paavola

Emily Paavola is counsel with the National Habeas Assistance and Training Project.  She practices in Columbia, South Carolina.  She previously worked as a project fellow for the Cornell Death Penalty Project and did a brief stint in private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She has authored several publications designed to assist criminal defense attorneys in their representation of clients facing the death penalty.
